Thank you for your interest in Herman Lodge #108 Free & Accepted Masons. We are a fraternal
organization committed to helping teach men how to lead more moral and just lifes. Freemasonry uses the metaphors
of operative stonemasons' tools and implements, against the allegorical backdrop of the building of King Solomon's
Temple, to convey what has been described as "a system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols."
Freemasonry is NOT a religon - there is no separate Masonic diety. Freemasonry's central preoccupations remain charitable
work within a local or wider community, moral uprightness (requiring a belief in a Supreme Being) as well as the development
and maintenance of fraternal friendship among brethren.
